Non-surgical body treatments in Corpus Christi

Ask a local provider about non-surgical body contouring and similar treatments. Send a short consultation request to start.

Three kinds of body treatment

When a med spa lists body treatments, it usually means one of three things.

Body contouring. A device applies energy, often cold or heat, to a chosen area over a set time. Providers use different devices and applicators for different areas.

Cellulite treatments. Methods include devices that use sound waves, radiofrequency or suction, and hands-on techniques. Some providers offer injectable options where state law allows.

Lymphatic massage. A light-pressure massage done by hand, following a set pattern over the body.

A licensed provider decides which, if any, is suitable.

Questions to ask about body treatments

Useful questions for a body treatment consultation:

  1. Which device or method are you suggesting, and how does it work?
  2. Who performs it, and what training or license do they have?
  3. Is it suitable for the area I am asking about?
  4. Do any of my conditions or medicines matter here?
  5. How many visits do people usually have, and how far apart?
  6. What side effects are possible, and what should I do if one happens?
  7. When would you suggest I see a doctor instead?

Questions to have ready

Bring these questions to a body treatment consultation:

  • Which method or device would you suggest, and why?
  • Who will perform it, and what training do they have?
  • How many visits do people usually have, and how far apart?
  • What sensations should I expect during and after?
  • What side effects are possible?
  • How is cost worked out for a series?

Cost is set by each provider, so ask at the consultation. You can find more ideas on the questions to ask page.

Questions about body treatments

Are body treatments the same as surgery?

No. The body treatments on a med spa menu are non-surgical, with no incisions or general anesthesia. If you want to ask about surgery, a surgeon is the right person to see. A licensed provider at a med spa can tell you when that is the case.

Who should skip body contouring?

A licensed provider decides that. Common reasons to wait or skip a device include pregnancy, recent surgery in the area, a hernia, some implanted devices, and conditions that react to cold. Bring your full health history and medicine list to the consultation.

Does this site perform body treatments?

No. This site has no staff, providers or clinic. It passes your consultation request to a provider in or near Corpus Christi. That provider decides what is suitable after a consultation, and cost is set by them.
